5 Disney Movies that Show Teamwork

Cartoon image of mouses looking at Cinderella in a book

As a child, our household always had Disney movies playing. I would dance and sing along with every movie! Personally, I am still a huge fan and now realize how much teamwork comes into play throughout each movie. I found that Cinderella, Madagascar, Inside Out, Nemo, Toy Story 2, and several other movies all have teamwork built into their story. I could list every Disney movie that symbolizes team work and #TeamHuman, but lets face it, this blog would be 1,000+ pages long! So, look back into your childhood with me and let’s recognize some fun scenes that show us how to work as a team!

Cinderella

All the mice worked together to help Cinderella make a beautiful dress for the Ball. (A little Fairy Godmother action doesn’t hurt either…)

Madagascar

Every penguin scene basically shows team work. These guys sure do know how to have a good time while working together.

Inside Out

disney inside out. Happy says C'mon, Group Hug! You too, Anger.

This is one of my favorite movies that involves teamwork. Every emotion comes together at one point to help Riley figure out what her life is. They work together to bring her back to being a happy child.

Finding Nemo

When I saw this scene, I gasped! Each fish friend helped Nemo survive the air filter. If it wasn’t for everyone working together, Nemo could have been sushi…

Toy Story 2

In this scene, the toys took over the pizza hut car to save Woody. They worked together to drive the vehicle to their destination. Without someone pushing the gas/break, looking out the window, and steering, there is no way they could have done it alone … they are too short!

Overall, Teamwork is important.

It is so much easier to accomplish tasks together than alone. If you are ever in need of some help, don’t be afraid to reach out to a friend!

Here are 5 quotes that tell the importance of working together.

Until next time, have a great day.

Watch how Tom Krieglstein, spent a whole day traveling across the U.S. and didn’t need to talk to another human being. He told it as part of his TEDx talk at UCLA.
