New Feature: Customizable Primary Filters [VIDEO]

When users sign up for the Red Rover Directory, we ask them a few basic questions. We call them the primary filters, and they can be customized to suit the needs of each institution.

Like the lint trap in a clothes dryer, or a colander filled with perfect al dente pasta, the Directory’s primary filters help users find the information they want. For example, students can search for people who share an interest, and then sort them by class year, major, or residence hall.

Directory Admins can customize the primary filters by logging in to the Red Rover Directory, and clicking Admin>Setup>Primary Filters. Then:

  • Customize the questions that appear during the signup process
  • Enable or disable filters as needed
  • Customize filter names
  • Choose whether users will answer with a dropdown menu or text box
  • Edit or delete user responses

If you are a Red Rover Admin, and you have questions about primary filters, we’re here with answers! Just drop us an email, and we’ll be happy to help.
