DANCE FLOOR THEORY™️
Student Leadership Training
Turning Student Leadership into Campus Engagement
Just like a real dance floor, campus life has a center and an edge, and too many students are stuck on the sidelines, disengaged. Dance Floor Theory helps student leaders bridge that gap.
Winner of 8 national speaking awards and trusted by hundreds of colleges every year, this innovative training gives student leaders a practical, proven model to increase engagement across clubs, organizations, residence halls, and orientation programs. With over 1 million students trained, DFT is the go-to framework for building stronger communities and boosting retention.
"Tom was funny, charming, and relatable. His program was quite powerful and the Dance Floor Theory seemed to resonate with my students. He was informative without being "preachy." Our Chancellor's Office Coordinator turned to me half way through and asked, "Can we hire him? He gets it." The activities had everyone laughing and interacting, which is often difficult to accomplish. Even campus leadership had a great time."

"Tom was incredibly engaging and applied very applicable outcomes and lessons learned for our student leaders. Even on day 10 or day 3 of training (we had two different groups of leaders in the training), he was able to engage folk at 9AM!"

"The program is always so successful at our campus and many of the campus I have had the pleasure of bringing it to. I think the energy and charisma that Tom bring allows for student to feel open and engaged in building community. I had a student say that they loved the program and it was on the top list of things that they loved about orientation."
