George Bernard Shaw once said, “Progress is impossible without change.”
At Swift Kick, we have some big, audacious goals around helping leaders better lead their teams and engage their members. After 14 years of training leaders, we knew a few things needed to change to help us reach our bigger vision.
As we look ahead to the next 14 years, I wanted to share a high-level vision of our changes as well as where Swift Kick is heading.
New Website / Logo
For those of you who’ve been in our world for a while, you’ll notice that our website and logo are completely different. Our goal was to mature our brand. We want our website and logo to better reflect the impressive value of the trainings we provide. Our prior branding was fine, but as one designer said, “It looks like you run a youth soccer league.”
Not quite the branding we were looking for :-).
Team/Org Leader Book
A few months ago, we launched into a year long writing process to produce our second book. Book writing isn’t easy, but it is amazingly rewarding. The focus of this book is to provide a blueprint for leaders on how they can better run their organizations. This book will be the basis for the next three big projects we are planning, listed below.
SK 356 (Year Round Leadership Training)
Most of our work right now involves doing just one training for a partner per year. By writing the book mentioned above, and using our current pool of content, we want to build out year-long leadership training programs. Then, we will be able to dive deep into each organization to provide real and lasting change at a cost effective rate.
Online Leadership Courses
While we wish we could work with anyone that wanted to work with us, we know budgets are tight. By expanding our suite of online courses that reflect and support our in-person trainings, we can reach an even larger pool of leaders. Online courses will also provide even more value for our in-person trainings.
Regional Executive Trainings
Bringing together a group of high-powered leaders from all our partners for an immersive weekend of personal growth and networking will create an unstoppable energy. These events will be exclusive to only those leaders who’ve already gone through our base level of training. From there, we’ll take all the learning to a whole new level.
Mastermind Groups
For many years, I’ve facilitated small groups of leaders who come together for monthly meetings. During these meetings we dig into challenges members are facing in their personal, work/school, and family lives. The results have been amazing. So, I want to expand this work to provide to our leaders who’ve already been trained on our base level stuff.
Have you ever walked down the street after an amazing workout and felt like nothing could get in your way because you felt so focused and full of energy? That’s how I feel right now with the future of Swift Kick. In my mind, I see it all coming together, crystal clear. We know it’ll take time to implement everything, and that’s fine because we’re committed to our vision for a long time to come.
