The 1st SK company retreat of 2007 closed on January 10th. This retreat differentiated from the other three we held in 2006 because instead of being about basic logistics of upcoming programs, it was about the growth and vision of Swift Kick as we move into 2007 and beyond.
We stated several times on this blog that we are not just a speaking company. Swift Kick is in education and speaking was our on-ramp to the educational highway. The focus of 2006 was mostly on speaking as we brainstormed and planned our next steps.
2007 will be an actualization of those high-speed ping-pong brainstorming sessions. 2007 will be a collection of partnerships, technology, speaking and a romping good ol’ time.
At the end of our very first SK retreat in late 2005, we ended by saying, “And so it begins.” At the time we thought that was true, however after leaving this retreat, we said again, “And so it begins.” And this time it truly does. Each idea we are talking about is filled with so much potential and excitement.
Stay tuned as we work hard in 2007, and all we can say at this point is, “And so it begins.”
