We have pride in our vision. We try to avoid hubris with doses of self-deprecation, but I’ll be honest, we have moments in conversation where the word “genius” gets thrown around only half way in jest. We are still young. Someday we will know to not be impressed.
At the moment, however, it drives us nuts when we see something so clearly, something that is so exciting – and then it still takes forever to get there.
I found a needed reminder in this article about google taking on too much:

We have the pieces of an incredible learning community for APCA all built. Changing habits, and mindsets, of the stakeholders is simply a slow process.
We’ve been working on Red Rover for 9 months, and it’s soooo close and nooot quite.
Patience is not easy and it is critical. It’s a skill I need to work on.
