Most of us don’t start thinking seriously about internships until we’re well into college, but last month, a group of 7th and 8th grade students came to our offices for a MicroInternship—a chance to get a head start on learning by doing. Here’s what Meaghan, one of the MicroInterns, had to say about the experience:

At first, I will be honest, I was a little hesitant. I mean, I’m no super-smart special kid who has an amazing talent with computers. However, after thinking it over, I knew it was the right thing to do…Being here today has been such a great experience, and it’s a day that I certainly will never forget.

Follow the MicroInterns on Twitter, and read more of Meaghan’s blog post here.

Today’s classmates are tomorrow’s colleagues, and the Directory provides a great way to start building your professional network. To start your own, just click “Start a Group” on the Groups page.
