05 May Tips to de-stress at such a STRESSFUL time of the year!
You are almost there, friends! Finals are either here or right around the corner. I decided to put together some fun activities / tips to help you de-stress. I truly hope they help.
In our book, First Year Student to First Year Success, we talk about getting “funstuck.” In other words, sometimes when you hit a mental wall and just can’t be productive anymore, all it takes is a little break. When you give your brain a rest from a problem, it starts to work on it on its own in a much more relaxed way. When you re-focus on the task, you might just magically have your answer. Now that’s a study tip!
As my good friend Sabina reminded me, ‘Deep breaths and remember that you think best when you clear stress.’
Each of these are little ways you can get funstuck and de-stress for even 10 minutes. Remember to breathe throughout the next week, you can do it!
